Canon has released their new firmware update for the EOS 5D Mark II!  The 2.0.3 update adds 24p video and is changing their 30p video frame rate to 29.97 to comply with TV production standards.  They are also adding for video, new audio level controls as well as a new histogram display and exposure modes.

The Austin Photo Expo 2010 will be May 15th and 16th at the Norris Conference Center.   I attended this great event last year, and really found it worthwhile!   It’s sponsored by Precision Camera, and it’s really hard to believe it’s totally FREE to the public!!   What a gift to the community!  They have great speakers, and representatives from numerous vendors will be there!   This is simply a must-attend event in Austin if you’re a photographer.   Mark your calendars…   And make sure you support Precision Camera.   I am grateful they’re in Austin!
